Understandably, many learner drivers stress out when their test date gets closer. Of course, whilst nerves are to be expected, you should remember that if you’ve taken lessons with a DVSA-approved instructor, you should be more than prepared for what will come your way in the practical.
On the day of your test, get to the test centre 10 minutes before your practical is due to begin. Don’t get there any earlier, otherwise you’ll get in the way of other learners coming in and out of the test centre for their test. Remember to bring your provisional, or the examiner will be forced to cancel your test.
As for the practical, it will follow this simple format:
Eager to get your results? You certainly won’t have to wait long. As soon as you get back to the centre, the examiner will quickly tot up any faults you made and let you know how you performed. Successful learners will get a test pass certificate and have the chance to send off for their full licence! Unsuccessful learners should keep their feedback sheet, so that they can work on the areas they accumulated the most faults in.o
